The defining realization of Erica's career was about something more fundamental than a product launch or a platform feature. Payments, she came to understand, are really about trust. It also shapes how she sees what NXTMOVES gets right. "We focus just as much on relationships, trust, and operational strength as we do on growth," she says, "and that balance is something a lot of the industry is still trying to figure out."

Outside of payments, Erica has a background in journalism. During high school and college, she produced and reported stories for FOX61 News in Connecticut —interviewing people on camera, editing footage, and earning a station scholarship for her work. The communication and storytelling skills she developed there continue to shape how she leads today.
